Astute horseman Paul Perry is one of the leading provincial trainers in New South Wales based at Newcastle, a two-hour drive from the metropolitan racetracks of Sydney.
A Group One trainer in every sense of the word, Paul has claimed feature Group One victories with horses such as Choisir, Fastnet Rock, Stratum, Dantelah, Notoire and Bezeal Bay as well as producing a stream of winners in Sydney and at the local provincial and country tracks.
An innovative and forward thinking trainer, Paul Perry is responsible for changing the face of the Australian racing and breeding industry as a result of his epic journey to Royal Ascot in 2003 with Choisir.
