I hope all of my owners and families and punters have had a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year and I hope everyone has backed lots of winners.

I have just returned from the Magic Millions Sales at the Gold Coast where I have purchased 8 exceptional yearlings which I am quite to have in my stable.  They are by Bernardini, Choisir, Henry the Navigator, More Than Ready and Stratum.  It is great to see what flashy offspring Choisir, Stratum and Fastnet Rock produce, having trained all three great sires. 

It is a very busy time of the year with the Sydney yearling sales on Sunday followed closely by Melbourne. 

I am looking forward to some nice two year olds that will kick off trialling/racing in the near future.  I have a beautiful 2 year old Stratum Filly.  I am “wrapped” in Stratum’s progeny as he is producing 2yo, 3yo and 4yo which are even winning up to 2400 metres.  This is a nice sire.  I also have some nice Encosta’s and Not a Single Doubts which should be very interesting.  I also look forward to Southern Skye and Splendid Honours to take part in some nice distance races (hopefully to take the place of old favourite Newport).
